Martini
- 2 jiggers of gin
- 1 1/2 cups cracked ice
- 1/4 jigger dry vermouth (about 2 teaspoons. Use only 1 to make it extra dry.)
- garnish with 2 small stuffed green olives or lemon twists
Pour gin and vermouth into a cocktail shaker with cracked ice. Stir or shake if your Bond. Strain and serve in a chilled classic Martini glass. Garnish.
Gibson
- 2 1/2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. dry vermouth
- 1-3 cocktail onions for garnish
Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cocktail onion.
Margarita
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1 jigger tequila
- 1/2 jigger triple sec
- 1/2 jigger lime or lemon juice
- lime or lemon peel
- salt
Before serving, rub the rim of the cocktail glass with the lime peel then dip the rim in salt. Over ice in a cocktail shaker, pour remaining ingredients, stir, carefully pour into prepared glass.
Frozen Daiquiris
- 2 1/2 limeade cans of light rum
- 1-6 oz. can of frozen limeade concentrate
Combine limeade concentrate, tum and 3 cans of water, cover and freeze (mixture will not be solid). Before serving, add to a blender to form a slush. Serve in chilled cocktail glasses.
Gin and Tonic
The drink that built an empire and added suave to the Patio.
- 1 jigger of gin
- tonic water (quinine water)
- ice cubes
- lime or lemon wedges
Pour gin into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Add tonic water to fill the glass and garnish with lime or lemon wedges.
Bloody Mary
- 1 cup vodka
- 2-18 oz cans tomato juice (4 1/2 cups)
- 2 tsp. Worchestershie sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or celery salt if desired)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- a few dashes of Tabasco
- 2 limes quartered lengthwise (optional)
- fresh celery sticks for garnish
Combine the first six indgredients in a large pitcher. To serve, pour over ice cubes in 10 oz. highball glasses. Squeeze a lime wedge into each glass if desired. Garnish with celery stick.
Scorpion
- 1 part brandy
- 6 parts light rum
- 6 parts orange juice
- 4 parts sour mix
Combine ingredients in a blender. Continue adding ice and blending until smooth. Serve in a hurricane glass.
Bikini
- 1 oz. light rum
- 2 oz. vodka
- 1/2 oz. milk
- 1 twist lemon
- 1 tsp. sugar
Shake ingredients (everything except the lemon twist) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and add lemon twist.
Sangria
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 bottle of dry red wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1-7 oz. bottle club soda, chilled
- 1 cup fruit (sliced lemon, orange, apple, peach, banana)
- 1 tray ice cubes
Into a large pitcher, pour juices and sugar, stir to dissolve. Stir in remaining ingredients. Makes about 6 cups.
Rob Roy
- 1 cup cracked ice
- 1 jigger Scotch
- 1/2 jigger sweet vermouth
- dash of aromatic bitters
- maraschino cherry or lemon twist for garnish
Over cracked ice in a cocktail shaker, measure Scotch, vermouth, and bitters, stir well. Strain mixture into cocktail glass and garnish.
Highball
1 jigger of your favorite liquor (yeah anything)ice cubesclub soda or ginger ale
Pour liquor over ice cubes in a highball glass. Add club soda or ginger ale to fill, stir and serve. It’s that easy!
Gimlet
- 2 jiggers of vodka or gin
- 1 1/2 cups of cracked ice
- 1/2 jigger of fresh lime juice
- 3 tsp. sugar
Add gin, lime juice, and sugar into a cocktail shaker containing the cracked ice and shake. Strain mixture into chilled cocktail glasses.
Manhattan
- 2 jiggers bourbon
- 1 1/2 cups cracked ice
- 1 jigger sweet vermouth (substitute dry vermouth for a dry Manhattan..duh)
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 2 maraschino cherries
Mix bourbon, vermouth, and bitters over ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain and serve into chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish with the cherry.
Jack Rose
- 1 jigger applejack
- 1 cup cracked ice
- 1/2 jigger lemon or lime juice
- 2 tsp. grenadine syrup
Pour ingredients into an ice filled cocktail shaker and mix well. Strain and serve into chilled cocktail glasses.
Alexander
- 1 cup of crushed ice

- 1/2 jigger heavy or whipping cream

Old Fashioned

- 1 sugar cube
- cracked ice
- maraschino cherry
- an orange slice or lemon twist for garnish
Stir sugar with bitters into an old fashioned glass and add 1 Tbs. of water until dissolved. Add cracked ice to fill glass and pour in liquor. Garnish with the fruit.
Tom Collins
- 1 jigger of gin
- 2 Tbs. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 cup of cracked ice
- ice cubes
- club soda
- maraschino cherry
- orange slice or lime twist
In a cocktail shaker, shake the lemon juice and sugar until dissolved. Add cracked ice and gin and continue shaking. Strain and serve over ice cubes in a highball glass. Garnish with fruit.
Champagne Cocktail
- chilled champagne
- dash of aromatic bitters
- 1 sugar cube
- 1 lemon twist
Place sugar cube in a champagne glass and add bitters and lemon twist. Slowly pour in champagne to fill the glass.
Grasshopper
- 1 jigger of green creme de menthe
- 1 jigger of creme de cacao
- 1 jigger of heavy or whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups cracked ice
Pour liquors over cracked ice in a cocktail shaper. Shake well and strain into cocktail glasses.
Screwdriver
- 1 jigger vodka
- orange juice
- ice cubes
Pour vodka and enough orange juice into a 6 oz. glass filled with ice cubes. Stir and serve.
Whisky Sour
- 2 jiggers whisky
- 1 jigger lime juice
- 3 to 4 tsp. of sugar
- 1 1/2 cups cracked ice
- maraschino cherries and lime slices for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, mix lemon ice and sugar until dissolved. Add ice and liquor and shake well. Strain into cocktail glasses and garnish with fruit.
